This initiative seeks to help small producers to position their coffee in the specialty market. In recent years, it has been seen that small producers run the risk of being displaced, since, unlike medium and large producers, they do not have the level of technology and capital necessary to achieve the quality levels required in the specialty market.
In this sense, through this initiative, technology and technical training are provided to producers so that they can improve their quality and access this niche market, increasing the price at which they sell their coffee and improving their quality of life.
The results that have been achieved thanks to the implementation of this program have been pleasantly surprising. We have witnessed a substantial increase in the price of their coffees that oscillates between 2 and 4 times more, and in terms of the quality and score of their beans, a significant increase has been achieved, reflected in an increase of 3 to 5 more points.
